Provision of Education as the Most Effective Form of Third-World Aid
"Friends of Kisimiri" sees the provision of education as perhaps the most elementary and lasting form of co-operative third world aid. There is scarcely any other means by which such basic aid in self-help can be given.This is not to be seen as an alternative, but as a complement to other forms of emergency and Third World aid.
Help effect
"Friends of Kisimiri" aims to carry out and support public educational projects in Tanzania, first and foremost in the Kisimiri region. The aided projects are all based on the principle of active contribution from and integration of the local community, as far as this is possible. In this way, on the one hand the available funds can be put to the most efficient use; on the other hand, through active participation, the enthusiasm of the local inhabitants for the educational projects will be more widely stimulated. Committee members of "Friends of Kisimiri" work on a purely voluntary basis and administrative fees are kept at an absolute minimum.
In this way , we guarantee that donated funds will have an almost 100% "help effect".
